Trump budget would slash cleanup of hazardous waste sites by 30 percent

Trump budget would slash cleanup of hazardous waste sites by 30 percentThe White House budget proposal submitted to Congress on Thursday includes a 31 percent cut in spending for the U.S. Environmental Protecting Agency, including a similar reduction of the agency's Hazardous Substance Superfund Account by $330 million to $762 million.
