New Venezuela clashes as Maduro seeks help in Cuba
Venezuela erupted in a fifth day of violent protests in a week Monday, as President Nicolas Maduro traveled to Cuba seeking support from fellow leftist leaders. In the latest clashes in the once-booming oil exporter, riot police in Caracas fired tear gas at stone-throwing demonstrators -- whose leaders vowed not to let up the pressure on Maduro. The streets of Caracas and several other Venezuelan cities have been the scene of running battles in recent days.

As spotted by BGR, Chinese site PCPop reports that OnePlus will go with an expanded screen on the OnePlus 5 that all but eliminates the front bezel on the phone. PCPop's report says that the forthcoming OnePlus 5 will have a 5.5-inch display, which is the same size as the current OnePlus 3T.

Disturbing new video has been posted of the man who was forcibly removed from an United Airlines flight. The passenger was dragged out of his seat and down the plane’s aisle. The Chicago Police Department released a statement describing the events that reads in part, “Aviation officers arrived on scene [and] attempted to carry the individual off the flight when he fell. His head subsequently struck an armrest causing injuries to his face.”
